Plants, Recreation, Sense of Purpose

LA Sunrise

Woke up just before 5:00 this morning, gathered my things wrapped in my Mexican blanket and trotted to my truck. It stalled when I tried to start it (it always does). The second time, the engine revved then settled into a heavy idle.

Driving toward the interstate, I passed by Silver Lake Reservoir and under the blooming Jacarandas. Their flower's color is gentle, a misty, snowy, pale purple.
